If you had a choice between two restaurants, one that sold good burgers for $1 and the other that sold them for $2, but the more expensive burgers were "organic" (or whatever the craze is), would you buy the healthier one or save $$$ with the cheaper one?

Cheaper one. Because I don't see how some of theis foods are organically grown when there already organic in the first place. Like veggies, wheat, or milk and eggs ( how do you organically grow/produce milk and eggs anyway ? ) The chickens eat corn and other grains and so do cows which are grown in the ground like everything else isn't that ORGANIC it's self ! ?

So I would just go for the cheaper burger cause to me there's no difference.

Good question krissy: Of course people would respond by buying the more expensive burger if it meant better health. And of course some would say cheaper is better. However; for me what ever looks and smells the best, and of course how accessible the drive through line would be.

It depends on how much money I have to spend on eating out on any given day. If I had money to spare, I'd go for the healthier, more expensive one but if I was almost on empty in the money dept. I would go with the $1 burger all day long. It's called survival.

I would tend to buy the more expensive food. Some things, like shampoo, shoes, or office supplies, I will go for the cheaper option. I do spend extra on food though. We are given one body and It is worth putting better food into it, if their is a chance it will keep me healthier.

If eating a healthier burger means you can live longer, the question would be how much longer would you need your lifespan to increase if you pay a buck extra for a burger.

most definitely!!! The better quality, the longer it will last...think about all the cheap things you have bought in the past...and how long did it really last? Probably not long at all...or fell apart in less than a week...
If you buy something that is higher quality, and thoroughly made, you are paying for it to last as well...
example....a brand new Saturn for 9000 that will die at 130,000 miles? OR a brand new honda for 17000, that will last up to 300,000 miles? Pickin' up what I'm puttin' down?

I think I would have to go with the more expensive one. It's organic which means it's better for your health. I would rather be healthy than to have some burger king grease sliding down my throat. lol
