Say your spouse had some of his/hers sandwich left and didn't want it and offered it to you, would you cut off the part that they ate from before eating it? Even if you've been together 14 years?

my husband did this to me , i've never seen him do that before , i asked him why and he said cause your not supposed to eat after someone else, and i said well you kiss me and he said well i don't eat you, yeah no kidding.lol

I think your hubby is weird considering what married couples do together eating after each other is a small thing and his excuse is germs LOL let him go without sex and just respond to Ewwww germs

That is not gonna happen with anyone's food.
Not a chance of me ever eating some else's sandwich. Yet I have taken other peoples food to feed my yard dog- seh loves human food.
If you share ice cream use two spoons, two straws on the drinks, I will not let anyone even my child share my utensils or straws. That's just bad manners and honestly gross.

LOL on that last part. My hubby and I share food all the time but we don't cut off the part the other ate from. Maybe he's just has germ a phobia

NO!!!!! That is silly You kiss don't you ? same thing. Does your spouse drool or something? Have bad breath? Just eat it. I am sure at some time in your 14 years of wedded bliss you eaten or drank after them.

well, if he's always done it.. some people are just like that...
I grew up with my brother... and even as growing up and even now.. .he will not use the "bathroom" glass or if he does.. he's going to wash it... and he won't drink from anyone else's cup.. some people are just that way.
re: additional comments: just tell him that it bothered you.. since he's never done it before... see what he says then.. a bit strange.. but man are strange... I guess woman are strange too.. what works one day .. doesn't the other day...

No, if you can kiss them then you can eat the rest of their sandwich. It's not like they are chewing it and then your eating it. I say no to baby birding it, otherwise just it the half eaten sammy.
