My friend moved to the other side of the country a few years ago. She gave me her address, but the letter was returned to me saying that she'd moved, so now I have no idea how to contact her. I found a person online that i believe knows her, but I can't just call her up and say "You don't know me, but I know your friend. Can you give me her phone number?" That'd just be weird. I don't know what to do!

When I say it was sent back saying she moved, I mean that it was return to sender with a red stamp with the word "moved" on it.

I think you should just call this person regardless of how weird you think it may be. It sure will save you 19.95 that you'll have to pay on USsearch.
