Get Windows Movie maker,
Download some clips.
the program is so easy to use and all you do is drap and drop the clips and you can cut them anyway you want and use different effects. I've made a ton, most of them pretty bad until I got the hang of it. then they got better

umm...
ingrediants:
- dvds fro clips to use in amv
- windows movie makers or any program to cut clips and put them into your in-progress amv
- song (^-^)
first you upload the dvds so u have the dvd and then u cut the clips u want to use and put them in the order u want, afterwards you delete all of the sounds/voices and put in yoru song!

it takes a couple of tries to get really good so be PATIENT!! ^-^
