i understand u don't want ur friends to think you're a loser, but when it comes down to who u want to be with, dont let ANYONE alter ur decision, do what you truely want. if your friends can't accept u after that then screw them, they arent real friends. real friends wont care who u date, as long as you're happy.

A lot of the time, your friends are good judges of who you should and should not be with. My friends have always been right about my boyfriends in the past. But on the other hand, you shouldn't listen to them if your gut is saying that you want to go out with him. Give him a chance, maybe you can eventually prove to your friends what a great guy he is.

You need some self esteeming and confidence to want something and go for it because you want it. Yes get advice, but don't be afraid try things on your on, Yes there are going to be mistakes, we all make them, but how else do we learn. A lot of our decisions are made out of pain. We try to make new choices and try to experience the least amount of pain possible. If we learn well by our choices we learn to make better future choices, which come out of our cognitive side of our brain. Never forget that we always have choices, regardless of the situation. Hopefully we will make good ones and if not we will learn to make good ones the next time.

why are your friends making fun of you ? if you really like the guy go for it !! true friends will back you even if the do not agree with you unless they know something you don't.

i would go out with him, if they really your friends they would not make fun of your for wanting to go out with this guy. If i liked him i would go out with him no matter what they said.
