By this I mean, do you support a candidate or do you vote for that person because you hear bad things about their opponent?

I used to vote for the lesser of two evils...then, I saw the face of evil. He won't be running in the future (due to term limits) so I think I may try and vote my conscience this election, and vote OUTSIDE the two party system...it has to start somewhere.

I always vote for a candidate. Just because the opposition might be bad doesn't make the candidate any better.

I vote for the person and not the party. Which, 99 times out of 100 will be Republican. So...take that as you may :)

Both, in most cases it is against the other candidate because I disagree with their politics more.
