I don't need music to make me depressed, other processes manage that all of their own accord. However, the track which best manages to match the feeling is "Creep" by Radiohead (from Pablo Honey). It's got just about the most destructive set of lyrics I've ever heard and it sums up perfectly some of the thought processes and emmotional intensity of a really bad time. It is truly a work of genius and I love it to bits.

Aimee Mann - Wise up
For me it was always a sad song.
A couple of years back it was put on an awareness video about car accidents due to speed.
I can't forget the video where a man, paralyzed from the waist down and with the hands all crooked tried to push a button of his shirt...
The saddest, for me, is that the video had no comment at all, just Aimee Mann's music and the music has 3 and ½ minutes!
(The time he took to push a single button!!)
The end of this particular video is the smiling face of the man because he succeeded...

Sorry guys, as I am not an Elvis fan it has to be anything by him and I so hate those country and western songs were they shot the dog, left the wife and hit the road type of songs, they just do my head in.

Everybody hurts by REM always makes me depressed. Its a good song.
