They can but I don't think they will. What they will most likely do is
suspend his drivers license and any other state licenses he might have. If they find the deadbeat they'll toss him in jail and make him appear before the judge. He'll get what he deserves at that point.
If you know where the deadbeat is turn him in or else you can be arrested for hiding him. He's the father and he MUST pay.

u should just answer the door and explain the situation that hes not there if they think hes there with the right warrant they can break down the door but i think they have to have a search warrant for that at least they do unless they feel endangered in sc

yea the sherriff can do whatever ..if your son is using your address you might wanna tell him to pay his support so the sherriff has no reason to come to your house ...
its kinda funny how they would leave you a message on your machine to secure your dogs though ... if you werent home i would call and make a complaint about that part and let them know he isnt staying with you and maybe they will look other places
