Most of the dual exhausts that are installed now days consist of a Y pipe after the catalytic convertor and are not really duals. That is if thay are done at aftermarket shops "Midas Muffler" and the likes. if I were you I'd see if the car ever was delivered from the factory with dual exhausts and if it was get the parts from the dealer to do it. I'm not sure how close the V-6 mustangs mimic the v-8s as far a the exhaust system goes but the could be pretty close.

This is an easy one, as the car is already set up for it, and is dual exhaust for a 1/3 of the cars length anyway.
Simply buy a dual kit from the many mustang sites, and bolt it in.
It won't take longer than a couple of hours.

Why would you put dual exhaust on a V-6? I know some manufacturers have what looks like dual exhaust on some cars however it is not true dual exhaust... just split in the back.

I dont own a Mustang but if you cant find an aftermarket dual exhaust go to your local muffler shop and ask them to make you a custom manifold and dual exhaust. It shouldnt be that hard but it could cost you.

its simple, as stated above me, but really shouldnt be done. Its just as bad as the ricers. V6 stangs are not performance cars. Go get a GT if you want something sporty.
