almost anything goes in the daytime. At night, dress for clubbing. That way you'll look great everywhere from the casinos to restaurants to the clubs. Black is always great, and a little black dress is always perfect. Or, little skirt. Dress sexy and fun. It gets cold at night, but you can get around via cab or the monorail, so you don't spend alot of time outside.

It's really a great place. Lots of fun, you can meet alot of very normal, very fun people and just party. It does NOT have to be a wierd place or anything like that. Don't hesitate to hop from club to club hitting 5 to 10 in a night...it's part of the fun.

Most places do not have a dress code - you'll see lots of tackily dressed people, lots and lots. I've seen people that caused me to say "my god, do you wear that out where you live?"

Vegas is aq city that has all kinds of dress, if you are going to a nice restaurant or a high end club dress up more and you'll look better (and probably feel nicer too). If you are worried about it being too "exclusive" put on the ritz what the heck, but for wandering around, you will be fine in just about anything.

Have a great time, it's a fun place to visit.

If your going to a club most clubs on the strip have the no jeans no tennis shoes dress code. Meaning nothing but nice cocktail dresses and so forth. If your out roaming the strip then your normal clothes will be okay. Remember Vegas is a tourist town. The night life is totally different and if you going to a nice expensive resturant then it is more likely youll need to wear a dress/suit. Most places though don't require or have a dress code just because they depend on the tourists money. Only the more exclusive and private place require such dress.

The Grown and Sexy look is what you should follow, you can never be overdressed for any club or restaurant in Vegas, The nicer you dress the more money it appears you have, and the more respect, and looks from the crowd you will get. I am not sure if you are looking for any type of attention but it always feels nice to be noticed. So my suggestion is bring out your best outfits, the ones that you wear when its girls night out, and you girls are going to the best club by your house. Have a great time and drink a lot of caffeine because your prob not going to get any sleep when your out there.

In October the weather during the day will still be warm 80's.
Casinos don't have a dress code, night clubs are different. Forget wearing a tshirt to a night club also to be safe don't were jeans.
Wear comfortable shoes you will do a lot of walking.

I live here. Its a quite casual town in most respects. If you're going to a nice restaurant, dress up (nice blouse and pants, a skirt or a dress). If you're going to a club, dress to the nines - break out the sexy dress and heels. You'll see most men and women dress up to go to nightclubs. Remember that in October, we can get some cool temps at night. We also get some very cool breezes across the desert at night. Bring a nice sweater you can put over things if you're going at night (check the temps right before you leave to get an idea).

Whoo hooo!!!
~Congrats on going to Las Vegas~ Hope ya have a wonderful time!!!!

Anyways... haha!
Casinos you can wear pretty much anything. Clubs same there. And if you go to a regular restuarant wear regular (casual) clothes. But if you go to a Formal Restuarant. Then wear formal clothes like a beautiful dress, or husband a tux etc. And bring some money with!!! Since it is Las Vegas they are going to have a bunch of super cute clothes, that you will want to buy.

**Sorry I don't help that much**

I hope your excited! I AM FOR YOU!!! haha

~~Congrats again~~

If you are going to clubs just wear nice gear if you plan on going to the expensive ones. Casinos dont have dress codes at all, just the dance clubs.

the casinos don't have dress codes but most of the bars andresteraunts do. just dress up and one piece of advice is to wear like flip flops while walking around and carry your dress shoes. you walk around so much that your feet really start to hurt.

You'd be suprised at what passes for a "dress code" when there are empty tables in restaurants.

If you want to be "classy" watch Vega$ re-runs.

Other than that, you'll see white-trash, tuxedos, and everything in-between.
