British Literature would be stuff that was written by English people....writings that come from the United Kingdom. Stuff like Chaucer (The Canterbury Tales), the epic poem Beowulf, Shakespeare, Christopher Marlowe, Milton's Paradise Lost. etc.
Children's Literature would be stuff that is written for kids to read.
How did you get classes you've never heard of before?

Um. Okay, taking a wild shot in the dark here, but:
British literature = Literature of the British variety
Children's literature = Literature of the children's variety.

Children's literature is learning about what children's books entail of and British is the same thing, but with Brittan's, not children

My guess is literature from Britain and literature for children. Why are you asking this on a pregnancy and parenting board?

I think children literature is like children's' books,
Because literature means book.
