I absolutly LOVE this play! I listen to the songs all the time! Someday, I want to play Eponine in it. It would be my dream come true. I don't like some of the bad things in it, though. But otherwise, it's amazing!

Les Miserables is one of the classics of French Literature. The musical adaption is fabulous and I have seen it 8 times. Twice by National Tours and 6 times when my daughter played Mdme. Thenardier in a local Children's Theatre production. Eponine is a great role, but you must have the right type of voice. Preferably a mezzo plays the role because of the really low notes. And don't sing the death scene too strongly. I like to hear that Eponine is actually dying. It is a great show! I hope you get to pursue your dream!

Musically, yes. I perfer the french version, and might I reccomend the novel?
Also, its not really a play. It is a musical or opperetta.

When you do play epponine, for god's sake use your head voice.

If you love it so much, try studing more about that time period and the hardships people had to endure. Be thouraly educated by the time an audition roles around. It'll show.

I really like the song "Castle on a Cloud". I hope your dream comes true! Trust me, I know how it feels to want something REALLY REALLY badly! I have an audition for "Anne of Green Gables" coming up, and I've always DREAMED of playing Anne Shirley. I have a feeling that tells me I will be able to, and I hope you have the same one about your dream!!!!!!

I love Les Miserables. I learned all about it in a grade 7 music class and we watched it. One of my best friends got to go see it a few months ago.
