I completely agree with you , most asthmatics are not smokers and shouldn't be penalised , as you will know asthma kills more people than diabetes in this country so the bigwigs in the country govt should do something about it after all diabetes can also be brought on by various reasons obesity, drinking , cancer ...to name a few

I agree! I pay a fortune every month, o.k not exactly a fortune but for a student it is. It's not only one inhaler, it's 2 and some pills and then the nebules on top of all that.
The only thing i got free was a card to tell people what to do if i stop breathing.
D'you know what else is annoying? I got told that if I was having an attack I had to go and get an appointment for the same day at the nurses office at my local gp instead of going to hospital. wtf?

I don't know but i think its disgraceful. I never use to be an asthmatic until an accident at work has left me being one. Don't ask how it happened! I'm currently suing the company!

I don't know, it's outrageous isn't it?! You should direct that question to the Chief Exec at your local NHS or Tony Blair. If you're persistent enough, they will have to listen to you!
