I don't buy the argument that Iran supports terrorists. Iran isn't friendly to US interests and that is what makes us call them terrorist supporters so we can justify meddling in their affairs.
If Iran wants a nuke, I say we give it to them. If there is one thing we learned from the Cold War was nuclear deterrence and mutually assured destruction.
Give them a high yield hydrogen bomb, tell them how to use it and then tell them that if they do, we will wipe them off the face of the earth.
There is sound politics in the stability that owning a nuclear weapon has for nation-states. Those countries with nuclear arsenals are less likely to be destabilized and less likely to be involved in large scale wars. With Israel causing so much trouble in the region, I'd say it is about time we counterbalanced Israel with a nuclear Iran. It's called the balance of power.
Why exactly is everyone so scared of a nuclear muslim country? They have just as much of a right to protect their democratic government as we do. Yes, Iran is a democracy! Bet you didn't know that. It has been for nearly a century. They aren't extremists, they are simply sick and tired of being bombed, disrespected and treated like garbage from the rest of the world.
I would want a nuke to protect myself from you too.

I am most concerned that should ISLOMAFASCISTS obtain nuclear weapons they WILL USE THEM.
I think a war with Iran would be very ugly and very costly.
It would be nice if China and Russia were to help but they have been bought off by Iran with large contracts.
So I guess when the time comes that Iran is close, we will have to do something, the only other option is to watch hundreds of thousands of innocent people die a horrible death.

Firstly, get your facts straight.
1) Its a common fact that Iran HATES Al Qaeda. Their two completely different types of Muslim..think of Protestants and Catholics, with all the hatred of the past, and your getting close..
2) Iran has every right to Nuclear Power. How can America, the only nation to ever use a Nuke in anger, tell others what to do?
3) Look at its neighborhood. Israel has a mutual hate for Iran, and it has Nuclear Weapons. American dominated Iraq is on its direct border, and Pakistan is also nearby. Pakistan is also a confirmed Nuclear State. Wouldn't you want some form of Nuclear defence against those odds?

It is a hollow argument for the US to possess nuclear weapons but to prevent others from having them. If having them is wrong, then the US, England and France should get rid of theirs as well. The USA and its western allies have nuclear weapons. Why do they feel that they can play with their toys, but if anyone else has them, they are would be terrorists?

it's obvious that the reasons the US isn't doing anything is because
#1, they've already got enough **** going on
#2, there's international laws in place these days where they can't just jump in unprovoked
#3, i'm pretty sure it's in US interests that Iran has nukes (keep the masses fearing the evil muslims, for one)
