I really enjoyed the first part of the series, but lost interest when the judges stopped judging and they turned it into a popularity contest. That's not what dancing is all about. Benji is a very personable young man, who projects well, but he wasn't the best dancer. Ivan was a wonder! He was able to pick up on a variety of routines, without the background training that is almost essential. It makes you wonder how far he could go if he had the training. So in the sense that the best dancer didn't win, it was a disappointment. The phone in component likely increased the audience size, and gave them a number that would be a useful tool when selling ads for the next season's show, but in my mind, it killed the essential premise of the series.

Allison was by far the best dancer this last year. She had the technique and style. She should have won. America doens't know what dance is. They just voted on personality. Benji had a great personality and Travis had great style. No one else is even worth mentioning.

Ooohhhh! I so agree with the first guy, I was with Ivan all the way! I almost cried when he left. But I was pretty satisfied Benji won out of those 4. Donyelle was ok, I didnt like heidi, and Travis only knew like contemporary!

Of course i watched so you think you can dance this year. i really enjoyed it. i honestly didnt know who i wanted to win but i knew it was between benji, travis and donyelle...so when they were in the the top four it was all smilies for me. so i am really happy that benji won.
