9th is Freshman
10th is Sophomore
11th is Junior
12th is Senior

9th graders sometimes go to a junior high school.

i don't think so, i'm in 9th and i'm not considered a "junior" in school.

Back in my day and I think it's still the rule, they are Freshmen
