Maybe $8/hr. if you are lucky. Jobs are not paying much these days.

Well ... a few things to keep in mind when you are looking to find your pay rate in that field. First ... what kind of dispatcher? Is this goverment w/ 911 or police? Or is this like dispatcher for a taxi company/garbage/towing? Next ... where are you located? Near any major cities? You may want to search the interent for pay rates. My experience as a 911 dispatcher landed me a whopping $9.50 an hour. Hardly worth the stress that job put out. Don't get me wrong ... I loved it a lot ... but it got to the point where I was mentally exhausted. If you have the heart and will power for a dispatching job ... more power to ya!!! Just remember that each state is different .... not to mention county pay varying. Hope that helped!!

Need more info. What kind of dispatcher? At any rate you should be able to find out how much any position makes in your area at www.salary.com
