ive got a big amount of 14ct. gold jewlery (pendants, rings, etc...) and i dont want to be ripped off. what the least amount of dollars i should except for one piece?

It depends on the weight of gold in the piece. Artist value needs to be appraised. I took some of my jewelry to be appraised at a local jewelry store and was amazed at what the owner told me. Except for a couple of pieces with diamonds in them, it was worth very little!

I work in a store and one of our items is jewelry, and most of our 14K stuff sells for around $40. Check jewelers.
