I used to watch TV. Now I go to fark and youtube. I used to look up facts in a dictionaries, encyclopedias, and periodicals. Now I use google. I used to play video games on an NES. Now I play World of Warcraft. I used to read the paper. Now I use an rss reader.

So, essentially, no. The internet is just a minor convenience. Email is what has changed my life the most, as I'm now able to keep in contact with friends a little easier.
