If you mean morally wrong, there are three sorts of answer:
1. Wrong is wrong because some moral authority says so. It might be God (which means someone who has claimed to speak for God) or it might be the authority of your own reason (which has been claimed to favor something very like the Golden Rule).
2. Wrong is wrong because it does not further the goals of the moral community. This sort of wrong is called 'vice', or having a bad character.
3. Wrong is wrong because it does not bring about the greatest amount of good (pleasure, happiness) for the greatest number of people (or, alternatively, the great number of beings capable of feeling pleasure and pain, whether or not they are human).

What is wrong is entirely subjective and in a larger sense the word itself is subjective. There is no reason we call wrong by the name wrong. There is reason behind the concept of wrong though, and everyone really has their own reasons which can make for a lot of confusion when people begin to hold others to their own standards. However many do try to create a universal standard of wrong, religions, philosophies, laws, etc. What is commonly described as wrong are those things which infringe upon the freedoms or human liberties of others. Some would extend such freedoms of life to animals as well. One must elaborate upon what those human liberties are, how much freedom one shoud have, etc. There is also an idea of something which is morally wrong that outside of all external factors is wrong in itself. hope this helped answer your question.

Wrong is a concept in law, ethics and science.Any damage resulting from a violation of a legal right. results in legal injury. It can also implies the state of being contrary to the principles of justice or law. It means that something is contrary to conscience or morality and results in treating others unjustly.
In Ethics, wrong is the opposite of right. All cultures seem to have degrees of wrongness reflected on the extremes in behavior that are treated as taboos.
In science, the scientific concept is wrong if it can be used to make specific predictions of results of experiments .But those predictions do not correspond with physical reality.

wrong is not being right, hence we must have to define what is right inorder for us understand what is "wrong". Being right holds the "universal truths", which gorvern humanity thus laws were created to bring us closer to that universal truth. Although somtimes laws can be bias which will offset what is right from wrong laws are not absolute b/c it is bound to changes with society. What is real will never change like the flow of time, death, the cycle of life, imperfection of human creations, those will always remain intact b/c it is real. So why i sbeing wrong..wrong? Shyt i don't know but, i did wrong one hell of an essay on wrong an dright huh?

Wrong is a label denoting preference. People over centuries and centuries have taken preferences and made them into laws (moral and legal).
Therefore, wrong isn't wrong. Wrong is an idea, notion, or even an abstract thought. It's when these "ideas" are put into "black and white/ right and wrong" strict guidelines or rules that these thoughts and questions arise.

that's because people classify wrong as wrong .i think that depends on people themselves and what kind of persons they are. For example homo sexual bodies don't classify that as wrong. For some, screaming in the street is wrong but it's very normal according to others. So wrong is not always wrong. That depends on your definition of wrong things.

well, the best answer would be because it is spelled: WRONG. However, it is only wrong if the individual agrees that it is so...
