Mmmm, I think the question should be, do you want a lady that wants a Harley guy, or do you want one that wants a Yamaha guy.
Generally speaking, women will opt for the rebel without a clue, but the ones seeking long term relationship, have intelligence or generally want to have a fun ride will opt for a Sport-Touring bike, like the ST1300, FJR1300, or the BMW RT1200.

Where I live, the ladies actually know something about motorcycles and motorcyclists so they prefer Honda guys.

bottom line is once they have you caught there gonna want you to sell it. Thats what happened to me girlfriend loved the bike. As soon as we got serious you start to hear ' well it was nice, but now your more mature and familiy oriented and it's just not safe.'
I took her engagment ring money and bought a crotch rocket. Now i'm dating a 24 y/o woo hooo !
