Call a hospital and get their advice. Nurses can tell you some home remedies depending on how they received the food poisoning. They can even give you numbers in your area if you have to call poison control.

If they truly have food poisoning they should be seen by a doctor right away. Vomiting can be the body's natural way of getting rid of toxins, but if it lasts for too long or the person isn't able to hold down any fluids they can become dehydrated. If anyone in your family who's affected by this is a young child or elderly then this can be especially dangerous.
Just have them go to the doctor or bring them yourself. If you think they contracted food poisoning from a restaurant then you'll need to call the public health office and report this so that they can find out where it may have occured and look into the possible reasons of the contamination.

Not a thing you can do. If it's truly food poisoning, it's going to be coming out both ends non-stop for many hours. Once they get control of their bodies again, give room-temperature water only. WHEN they can keep the water down, follow the BRAT rule for eating.
Bananas
Rice (white steamed)
Applesauce
Toast (dry)
WHEN they can keep these foods down, they should be able to resume normal eating.

They have to throw it all up and what don't come up they will pass thru their bowl. 7up or peptobismol may help but most of the time they have to go thru what their bodies take them thru to get rid of it. Sometime saltine crackers help. I have had this several times, the best thing to do is to stand by and comfort them and get what they need;bucket etc.. It really is a miserable feeling i will never forget it.

go to the emergency room. give them liquids (vomiting is dehydrating). sports drinks are good. some say weak tea, but it, too, is dehydrating. bland foods, like crackers, can help. if they vomit them up, feed 'em, again. slightly burnt toast can help (the charcoal from the burning absorbs toxins), or just plain charcoal (WITHOUT added lighter fluid!). hair stroking and, "awww!", are useful, in their ways, as well. if it lasts more than a day, it's likely not food poisoning. again, ER.
