What is your favorite of sayings, quotes or words of wisdom. Do you care to share a lesson learned?
My mom used to say "Life is not a bowl of cherries" because I'm always happy. (Joy of the Lord, thanks be to God) My favorite mantra is "What ever Jesus wants" because I've tried it my way. What do find yourself always saying or referring to? Much appreciated! Oh and uh,
"Jesus Saves" - Hey, another favorite saying! Well, they just come up all over the place!- Don't they...

It's kind of corny, but I still like "Today is the first day of the rest of your life."

I wrote myself a saying a few years when I needed to encourage myself. Here it is:

"You are your own best resource. You cannot borrow another's brains, talents or luck. God wants YOU to MAKE IT HAPPEN."

Thanks for a good question.

You could go on thinking an imaginary person real flesh and blood likewise and be none the wiser. Courage is a small stream one must cross over but wisdom is an impetuating preoccupation.
Blackheat Art 1986

You gain courage in one step, but wisdom is something that continues to happen with every step you take. So continue to walk and grow wiser with each step.

Proverbs 14:33
Wisdom reposes in the heart of the discerning and even among fools she lets herself be known.

Secular schools can never be tolerated because such schools have no religious instruction, and a general moral instruction without a religious foundation is built on air; consequently, all character training and religion must be derived from faith . . . we need believing people.

Before you spew your venom at me for expressing an opinion, ask yourself first..... What Would Jesus Do? Now, do you still want to call me names?

I have two:
One is by Walt Disney: "It's kind of fun to do the impossible."
The other is (I think) Robert Frost, but I could be wrong: "I can sum up everything I've learned about life in three words: it goes on."
