Nope...the only definition of polynesia is: A branch of Oceania which contain scattered islands of the obligatory and southern Pacific Ocean sort of between New Zealand, Hawaii, and Easter Island. the better islands are volcanic, the smaller ones usually coral formations. desire i helped :) issy
