My husband and I have been married for almost 5 yrs and together for 8 yrs. Here recently he cheated on me with his ex the one he left for me. He is in the airforce so we are stationed in Maryland and she lives in our home state which is Texas. Anyhow here is the story he got another cell phone behind my back and had been calling her while I was at work she says..he was telling her that we were divorced and I was living in an apartment and he was taking care of my son and I. Well my son was here with him while he was on the phone with her and he told her that I drop him off whenever I want to go out and party. But after a month of him having the phone and talking to her behind my back ...he had to go to Missisippi to school for what he told me was going to be 3 wks which only turned out to be a little under 2 wks. The rest of the time he went to Texas and was with her ..they did sleep together. He tells me he didn't kiss her or hold hands or anything that it was just lust.

I think what he did is unforgiveable and if he was in love with you he would never have done that. He disrespected you, your child and your marriage. You can do better than that. You should leave and find someone who will treat you with the respect you know you deserve. Good luck hon

To answer your question, no, he probably doesn't love his ex. On the other hand, he isn't capable of loving you either. That is, he isn't capable of being exclusive. If you believe he "didn't kiss her" and "didn't hold hands" you need to re-examine your gullibility quotient.
