I love that song but all I got out of it was something about being crazy.

I think it was from personal experience. About going to war.

This song is about tripping (mushrooms, LSD, mescaline, RC, Salvia Divinorum, etc.) Let's analyze the lyrics. It may have taken a mystical experience being in one these realms to realise why. If you haven't, you will not understand

-----

I remember when, I remember, I remember when I lost my mind
(Yep, it's kinda like that)
There was something so pleasant about that phase.
(The euphoria and happiness is overwhelming tripping)
Even your emotions had an echo
(I love this line. You get it)
In so much space
(Kinda like when you realise how insignicant you are to the infinite universe, or vice versa, comparing yourself to atoms)

And when you're out there
Without care,
(You don't care, out there, your in euphoria and a magical bliss)
Yeah, I was out of touch
(Yes you are)
But it wasn't because I didn't know enough
I just knew too much
(Oh my god if anything tells you its about tripping its this. Your philosophies and revelations about life and beyond and so creativitly inspired, so true and out there, you will think this)

Does that make me crazy
Does that make me crazy
Does that make me crazy
Probably

And I hope that you are having the time of your life
But think twice, that's my only advice
(Time of your life, but be careful, don't try to control the trip)
Come on now, who do you, who do you, who do you, who do you think you are,
Ha ha ha bless your soul
(My favorite lines. Every trip its the same thing: I don't know who or what I am, I am some egoless beast, animalistic in every sense, roaming the forest of unknown beautiful world. The bless your soul part is kind of a subtle little understanding, a connectiong that we both know exactly what he means)
You really think you're in control

Well, I think you're crazy
I think you're crazy
I think you're crazy
Just like me

My heroes had the heart to lose their lives out on a limb
And all I remember is thinking, I want to be like them
Ever since I was little, ever since I was little it looked like fun
And it's no coincidence I've come
And I can die when I'm done
(I don't know. This part loses me)

Maybe I'm crazy
Maybe you're crazy
Maybe we're crazy
Probably

Anyway I would take the credit of decoding the song as a psychedellic experience, but I he explained this on an E! interview a week ago.

Although I'm sure it's also kind of obvious if you watch the video.

You have to listen to the words I love that song but it's a little hard to explain he's describing himself and describing what other people see and saying maybe he's crazy but that's your opinion. That's the best I can do.

Cee-Lo tends to get a little deep with his music. Listen to it but dont think to hard.

He is basically saying that if you are your own person and don't fit the norm are you "crazy" or is the norm "crazy"
