Do you mean, "In our everyday lives, how do we deal with magnesium?" Well, it's among the most common structural metals, after only steel and aluminum. It's oxide form is a refractory material, meaning it retains its strength at very high temperatures, and its hydroxide and sulfate are of medicinal use, as in milk of magnesia and epsom salts.
