I am going to drive myself crazy. I keep reading things about false positive pregnancy tests. I took 2 tests last week and they were both positive. I have had nauses feelings for about 3 weeks and sore boobs about 4 weeks. I have a DR appt on Wednesday but I am so impaitent with waiting. I am going to drive myself nuts with this. My husband and I have been trying for years and have had no luck. What do you think about 2 false positives?

I think is RARE and that you are most likely pregnant! You are showing the signs and have taken TWO tests that show POSITIVE! I would say.....you are having a baby!!! Good luck and I hope you get another positive at the doctor's office!!!

As long as you read the test in the time that was stated in the instructions (some tests are no good after 5 min., 10 min., etc) then a false positive is very rare. More often people will mistake a positive for an evaporation line. However, and evaporation line looks more like a dent or a small gray line instead of the normal pink, purple, or blue. If you got a "colored" line, then you are most likely pregnant. My DH and I have gone through 2 miscarriages and several months of trying. We are now 19 weeks with our 3rd child. Good luck and Congratulations!

Most likely your pregnant, I took like 4 different tests. 2 came back negative and the other 2 positive. I'm now 14 weeks pregnant. Congrats!

I didn't think that you could get a false positive because the tests pick up on a hormone (HCG) that your body only produces while pregnant, I've heard of false negatives when the hormone is produced in to low of a level for the test to pick up on, but that usually only happens when you take the test to early.
In the event that a person did get a false positive, I don't think it would be very likely to get two of them. I think that you are pregnant, congrats.

I say congrats and it sounds like your pregnant. While it is true that home tests can be unreliable you have had symptoms for almost a month. Just try and stay calm your Dr will tell you for sure on Wednesday.

I really doubt that you have had 2 false positives! One, maybe. Two, NO. Don't stress, it's the worst thing you can do. I think you are PG. Congrats and good luck!

I have twins. My husband said he had a low sperm count. I took 7 pregnancy tests. They were all POSITIVE. You need to be too! Girl you are pregnant and if you don't believe me go out and buy a few more an DO IT AGAIN.... you won't be disappointed!
I am a firm believer anyway and I have 4 children. Check out this site.

Its usually a positive. I had a false positive and it was because it was so early that it was hard to make sure the correct chemicals were there. I'd say celebrate and be happy. It sounds like your hard work paid off!
