I think the Mets have been the better team this season, but I'd be worried about their pitching in that series. With Glavine possibly out for the rest of the season, that leaves Pedro (assuming he's healthy) backed up by El Duque, Trachsel and Maine - not a staff I'd feel comfortable with in a playoff series.
The Dodgers can counter with Lowe, Maddux and Penny, three guys who I think can dominate a series if they're on. I don't think their offense is anything special, but they can score enough to win in combination with good pitching.

It's so the Dodgers. Penny/Lowe/Maddux will SHUT the Mets down. And watch out for Andre Ethier - big time home run in the NLCS.

Dodgers lack middle of the lineup power
Where is Gagne again.....
Starters are good for the dodgers, but even so the mets play fine baseball at home with clutch hits and do even better on the road...
