my b'day is coming this october...and my sister is goin to gift me my faviorite cell phone..!! but i cant just wait till oct'...im trying to force her to buy me the fone now..but she doenst agree!!.....she says i shud learn to have patience...which i dont have!!!....grrrrr!! lol ...wht can i do to get the fone b4 my b'day!!??

You mean your sister is being wonderful enough to spend all that money on a new cell phone for you, and all you can do is be rude and demanding?? If I were your sister, I'd just say, "Forget it, buy the phone yourself!" Your sister's right. You need to learn patience, and how to be appreciative. I don't think you deserve the phone.

A gift is just that .... a gift and should always be accepted gracefully. I would wait. This would help show appreciation for the offer and the gesture. Then return the favor and dangle something she really wants under her nose a few months before her birthday.

Wow, I wish someone would have bought me a new cell phone. But no one did... I had to buy it myself, with money I earned. The same way with both vehicles I own. Be appreciative that someone is willing to fork over the cash to buy you a phone in the first place. Personally I wouldn't buy the phone for you if you kept bugging me about it. I'm a firm believer in small presents as gifts. The bigger items should be earned. That way their value is appreciated and not taken for granted.

Try being grateful that your sister is willing to buy it for you in the first place. That's called being gracious and giving. Your response should be gratitude and thankfulness....not greed.

Hey, look on the bright side...I have to wait till June 2007 to return back to my home(Japan of course)...I have family and friends there and I have to wait....OH I CAN'T WAIT!!! IT IS UNBARABLE!!!
Also I have something special waiting in Japan for me^^I CAN'T WAIT!!!!
Consider yourself lucky...you are just waiting for a stinkin' phone and you just have to wait until October...
