ok so u need new brake pads, thats nothing usualy less than ten dolars, now u need a new rotar that can cost u up to $100 if u want good ones if not then some $30 for average ones. ur gonna have to flush ur brake fluid and get new fluid cause ur also gonna have to replace the brake...damn i forgot the technical name, but its where the brake pads go, and i honestly dont know how much that would cost, i've never researched it, but yeah all of that plus labor might cost u up to $500-but thats because i dont know how the last item will cost you, so i might be over estimating it. i hope it doesn't go anywhere near $1000

depends how long you ignored the warning squealers I get customers who say two or three weeks ago they were making noise and then it seemed OK until the grinding started when I stopped. Translation into mechanic brakes were worn to the wear indicator squealers then they kept going and the pads went to metal to metal grinding until the pad metal was gone and front calipers were ruined. Not knowing what were working on here Rotors 100 each calipers 230 each brake pads for the front 70 dollars and 250 labor. rear brake pads are also thin rear brake job pads and turn the rotors 99 dollar special. Your front brake job could have been less than 200 but you kept going!

you may need to replace the calipers if the pistons were overextended. You may need brake hoses but that wouldn't go bad from neglect, thay just break down over time. The fact that you are a female has little to do with the fact that you don't know anything about cars. The first thing I would do is find out why they locked up. Sometimes the calipers lock up but sometimes the hoses go bad causing the calipers to lock up. In the second case you would likely just need hoses, brakes, and rotors. Worst case scenario you would need loaded calipers, rotors and brake hoses. Good luck!

you will probably need new pads, rotors, brake calipers and new front wheel bearings, also need a brake fluid flush. you will also need the rear brakes just to be safe
