I am doing a cheer routine for a local talent competion and I cant come up with a cool mix. Does any one have any suggestions on what song I should use? I dont have a routine yet and I need music that complaments it. I cant have any help from my all-star coach. I dont want any dumb or sarcastic answers. Please help me!!!

For a cheer mix:

"Go" Kelly Clarkson
"Hey Ya!" Outkast
"Walking on Sunshine" Katrina and The Waves
and maybe a little from either "Hollaback" Gwen Steffani
or "Hey Mickey" Toni Basil
as a tribute to the genre.

Ain't No Other Man But You (Christina Aguliera), SexyBack (JT) ... those are two HUGE ones. If you want to go a little farther back, try looking up old NCA mixes. I use those as a fallback. I still love everything on Britney's Greatest Hits (esp. the Dark Chid remix of Overprotected)- if you can dance "and" counts well and sharply, I would definitely do that one. It pops and looks awesome if it's clean. Or (don't laugh) the remix of Hilary Duff's "Why Not" on the Lizzie McGuire Movie soundtrack. Great for dance, and it's sounds fast- so your choreography will seem difficult and complex, but it won't have to be because the beat will only make it seem so.

"Let's Get Loud" by Jennifer Lopez
"We're Dancing" by P.Y.T.
i've seen a dance team routine using "Jack and Diane" by John Mellencamp, it was really cool, and it was somewhat of a dance version
"Everytime We Touch" or anything by Cascada has a good dance beat to it.
"Lose Control" by Missy Elliott, there's gotta be some part in there that you can use
"Crash" by Gwen Stefani

i have like a 1 minute 30 second cheer mix on a cd, i have no idea where it came from, but it had let's get loud on there, and it was really cool.

Promiscuous Girl by Nelly Furtado is a really good dancing song so u could probably come up with a cheer for that song. And Give it up to me by Sean Paul ft/ Keyshia Cole is another song that s prob good to cheer to.
