A person who honestly believes that the lies they are telling are true. I knew one once. He was my boss. He would change our schedule around and deny that he had done it, even though you could see the erasures on the calendar and the changes were in his handwriting. My father designed a clubhouse for him, and he had refused to pay, so Dad took him to court. He claimed that part of Dad's payment was a lifetime membership in the golf club he was a part owner in. There was a plaque on the wall of the clubhouse with the names of all the lifetime members, so we just went there that night and took a picture of it. Dad's name wasn't on it--I took the picture myself. The next day, Dad's lawyer handed him the picture and asked him if he saw Dad's name on the plaque. He said yes. The lawyer pulled back the picture, stared at it, handed it back, and said are you sure? He said yes again. The judge took it out of his hand, looked at it, looked at the guy and shook his head. Dad won the case.

It's a person that cannot help but lie. I wouldn't say its every word that comes out of their mouths.
It's more like when it comes to telling stories, describing a situation, or general conversation, a pathological liar will stretch the truth, or flat out make things up in order to create the image that they are trying to put off.
Granted, that does mean you can't trust a word they say. But I do know from knowing a few, that they don't even realize they are lying most of the time.
You'll start to notice a pathological liar if you spend a great deal of time with them. The same story is never told the same way twice, events you had a part in will come out completely diffrent when the liar is talking about it, and you start to find evidence that most of the things they have told you are false.

it is someone that has a mental disease in which the symptoms are an urge to lie about every single thing on their life, they can either lie about their past, as well as about little things, like details of things that they did, but not exactly as they say. They also tend to over exaggerate the things they are able to do, and to add such a level of details to their lies that sometimes you can´t really tell if they are lying or not.

My sister. I believe that it is someone that lies about anything and everything when there is no real reason to lie about something.
