The rainbow flag - actually not a true rainbow, since it has only six colors - was adopted as a symbol by the gay community. The flag was designed with a meaning to each color. See the link below for more information about the meaning.

No. It can mean you support gays, it can also mean you just like colorful clothing. To me, someone trying to be 'loud and proud' would wear the true rainbow colors. red, orange, yellow, green, blue, & purple in that order. Some people just love 'hippy' clothing and colorful leis to hang on their rear view mirrors.

You will have a lot of people assuming that it means one of the two. If you don't want it to, just be prepared to explain what it does mean (if anything) or that you just like rainbows.

even as i became 16 i became right now. I loved football and that i had sex with women for all time. If i concept about gay sex I threw up because it became so disgusting. Then my chum bought me this rainbow wristband and that i placed it on as a shaggy dog tale. the subsequent element I knew I had a penis in my mouth. this is the way it takes position. this is too late on your son, i'm sorry.

It could mean that you just like rainbows... not like they did not exist before it was adopted by the GLBT community as a symbol of unity.
