Anyone who says that Hitler wasn't a great leader obviously doesn't understand what leadership is. That is not to say that Hitler was a good person, or had good ideas, but there is no doubt that he had outstanding leadership skills.

Hitler was a superb leader, but still a madman. He was a genius for propaganda, and political maneuvering, but he wasn't a very good military leader.
Hitler's greatest accomplishment was the invention of "the Big Lie." If you tell some people a lie often enough then some of them will start to believe it. This is how Hitler made the Jews into the scapegoat for all that was wrong in the world and so justified putting them in concentration camps, and confiscating all their goods which were then given to other Germans to buy their support.
“The Big Lie” is a political tactic that is still used today. It works, and the buying of support has changed into the lobby system where the politician is given campaign funds, for their next election, if they support the lobbyist cause. This gives a lot of power to the lobbyists. Using these and other political tactics explains why some pretty bad politicians can get elected.
Currently the most fascist leader, in my opinion, is the Bush Administration. The recent case they lost on their monitoring of telephone calls (wiretapping) is just one example.
As P. T. Barnum said, “There is a sucker borne every minute.”

hitler was not a leader. He was a manipulator of the German people. he took advantage of the bad times Germans were in and promised a better Germany. hitler was the worst influence on the world so far. Our American leaders are doing a good job. Our President is faced with an incredible task that i believe is not matched in history. I am not a big fan of our Govt. but i believe they are doing what needs to be done in these uncertain times. Are you being oppressed now such as hitler did with his own people? I think not. Back then , people with opposing opinions were taken from thier beds at night and shot. Do a little more research.

Nice question… Ok, Hitler was an awesome leader he rallied the defeated Germans and made them the number one super power in the world. That would be like Venezuela conquering America. He was an actor playing a part just like all great leaders. He knew how to speak, walk and look important. Not unlike Gorge Washington they both sucked militarily, and both had awesome subordinates to do the real fighting. However both looked the part, that’s what counts. If it wasn’t for the fact that he was completely insane and a bitter racist we might all be speaking German right now. Later lemmings.

We, the Americans, haven't had the experience yet. We do not know what it means to have a kind, a dictator or live in a fascist regime. We are trying this out right now. We prepared the ground to be conducive to create a regime like the current one. Same as Hitler we hate the Muslims, foreigners, are pre-occupied with crime and punishment, denounce the arts and pacifist for a lack of patriotism. All the same features that in the 3rd Reich nurtured the development of Hitler.
Soon you will see concentration camps (of course we will have a more politically correct name such as assisted recreational areas for foreign guests) and burn people's corpses.

If you are somehow trying to compare any of our leaders to Hitler, you really need to pick up a book and read more history and form an educated opinion, don't just hop onto the Bush is Hitler bandwagon for the sake of fitting in.
No matter how much you might dislike our leadership, Hitler was on a level of evil so far beyond anything America has ever seen that it is laughable to try to compare him to Bush or anyone else in a position of leadership here in America.
Please, study history in depth for yourself and don't follow what the 'cool' people are saying. You'll come across as a much wiser individual.

He was a great leader that doesnt mean he had morals, im sure if hitler had put his mind to it he could of been a brilliant football manager. Alex fergeson is a modern day version, putting the veimarcht in action every saturday, and employing quick burst-through offensive manouvers and gaining important victories.

Hitler by all evidence was a thug and criminal. He rose to power by intimidation and violence. When he got most folks cowtowed with fear, he built on that. He was nothing more than a manipulator and intimidatior. A bully, who promised other bullies benefits if they followed him and served. If they did not support him, he beat them up or offed them.
We in our country could be very much in the same social situation where this sort of thing could happen. However, I think that our communities are too filled with aware folks, who "will never forget" to see it happen again the way it did with Hitler. Although it seems we are on thin ice in this regard.

Like GW Bush, everybody thought hitler was alright at first
Sad but true most Americans have feel they have to decide
who's the least worse of two candidates, because the Democrats and Republicans do everything they can to be sure 3rd party candidates get as little publicity as possible. In fact in 2004 Micheal Badnarik (Libertarian Candidate) sued those two parties, and won because they wouldn't allow him to participate in any of the debates. But unfortunately by then it was too late.
He was by far the BEST choice on that ballot

I don't know I just like the man and I feel that he was not that monster they talk about , anyway the defeated is always the bad guy . It's just the way the other party want to us to see him.
Believe me propaganda is everything Bush and Condi are war mongers, but who can say so, they are the civilized democratic leaders coming to save the barbarian Indians, it is the old American story.
