Its called an Avatar - you can make one in Yahoo - do a search on that word while logged in and it will get you started.

I believe most of the people have a yahoo email account and you can set up a personal avatar. I know I do. I don't know about others with a personal avatar

If you want a pic, you need to go to http://360.yahoo.com and sign up for an account. You can then upload a pic onto your 360 page.
(You must be 18 to have an account.)
If you want a cartoon avatar, go to http://avatars.yahoo.com to create one.
Next, go to your Answers Profile Page and hit Edit My Info. You can then choose which pic you want to display.

Go to your yahoo mail account and you'll see the defaul smiley face, just click on it and then follow on screen instructions.

go to Yahoo avatars and you can customize a picture of yourself.

that's your avatar. the easiest way to get one is to switch back to the old yahoo mail, and there is a picture by where it says, Welcome .... if you click on it, you can make it.
