and I need to change my name because it's hard to pronounce, but as to what I have no idea. I think I'd like to keep some form of 'Elizabeth,' but I'm open to different spelling options and the like.
Thanks!

I meant my last name. Sorry for any confusion. 'Ciolek' (pronounced 'see-oh-lick') is just annoying. Even people I've known for years still get it wrong and it bothers me.

How about a different version of your name or using your middle name? Since your first name starts with an E, try an alliteration or go with a consonant. Just a few examples given. Play around with it. Have you ever seen the original A STAR IS BORN? Near the beginning of the movie they change her name from Victoria Blodgett to Vicky Lester. Its a great movie, you can rent it or find it online.

Elizabeth Seals
Elizabeth Barrett (like the poet)
Elizabeth Barnes
Elizabeth Eastland

Changing your name is never good. My last name is hard to pronounce, but once people know "you" as an actress, everyone who matters will get it right. Its ok to have a nickname for "fans". People call me 'baby' after a certain dance performance I did with one of my friends. Keep your real name, especially if you are equity. When introdcing yourself at auditions and such, say it slowly and pronounce it well. Same when meeting people.

Elizabeth is abeautiful name. If you are going into theatre, its PERFECT. Classic.
Liz or lizzy would be good for a teeny bopper sitcom, beth as you get older.

Or lizard.
