I wondered what I would have done, mass hysteria is a funny thing. But being 35,000 feet in the sky is not the place to sit thinking about bombs on planes. I would have joined the rest of the passengers and either got off or insisted they did.

The reports I saw say that the passengers were nervous because of the way the two men were behaving. Without seeing their behaviour or at least having a reliable account it's impossible to say what my reaction would have been. I certainly would not have had a problem just because of them speaking arabic - it is quite a widespread language after all.

from what i read those guys were putting on an act to make people feel uncomfortable and it bounced back its OK for people to criticise that weren't about to board that plane but if i had my doubts i would object to boarding, and if all the passengers did that then management must take over

I feel sorry for the Asian passengers, particularly if they weren't muslims, but everyone's uptight at the moment, and that's good news for the terrorists.

As a spokesperson for the Pilots Association stated , it is everyone right to choose not to fly. It certainly is not their right to decide whether others can.

I'd have allowed them on the plane. I hate all forms of discrimination.
