No. It would be stupid to spend hundreds of billions of dollars just because we want to be bullies. Democracy comes at a price, read our own history. Thank God for Abraham Lincoln and Dr. Martin Luther King, FDR and so on.. otherwise we would still be in a war within ourselves and would probably be a "3rd world country". Some countries are helpless and can't fight for their own freedom. If we just "stand by and watch", we may be witnessing our own end.

since when is it cool for teenagers to question their government with no real information to back it up...don't get me wrong it's ok to question what your gov't is up to, but with reason, not just because they heard someone say something one time... is the world a better place without Saddam Hussein in power? Yes, is the world a better place without Adolf Hitler in power? Yes, would the world be a better place without what the US has contributed? No, so say we're the bully, but if you do, stop drinking Coca-Cola, stop eating McDonald's, stop travelling by flight, stop travelling by car, stop travelling by plane, and when you're walking to your destination, don't wear Nike, Reebok, Saucony, Adidas, Timberlands, etc...you get the picture, I know...you want us to let the tyrants run rampant because if we don't then we're bullies, but if we do, everyone's asking us to step in...who do you prefer be the world leaders?? France maybe, they seem to have all the answers.

We sure like to stir things up in other countries, i.e. provide ammunition to Israel, make threats, I think if we kept out of this, or even out of the Middle -East to begin with, none of this turmoil would be at such a high level.

Sort of. In many cases yes, and in many cases no. I wish we'de just be by ourselves for a little while, and no one, especially those government at risk of civil war or who hold racist states, would build nuclear wepons. It doesn't look good or easy to make decisions.
