I wondered if it would be okay to take my 8 year old to see this film; it's only rated PG & it does have Hillary Duff, but I didn't have any other details about the film & wondered if it would be too "grown up" for her to see. Today is her birthday & we're going to have a "girls' night out"!! lol Any advice welcome, please!!!

Bring a stash of your own favorite munchies, you know they gouge the prices for munchies at the theater.
Its an okay movie, definitely a girly girl movie, have fun - just remember to drive careful on the way home, other than the immature jerks in their hot rods, there are also a lot of drunk drivers.

I thought PG was Parental Guidance, so that means as long as a parent is there they child should be alright. I have seen some advertisments for it, I think it will be alright. Have a great day out and Happy Birthday to your daughter.

it looks okay.
hillary duff is getting a little less kiddie orianted as she gets older, but for 8 i think thats fine. if anything, i m sure much of the jokes
will go over her head, and she'll miss it. it looks like a cute movie

ask her what she would like to do or what movie she would like to see. stay at home and watch rented movies and eat pocorn etc.
that movie is a little more mature than an 8 year can grasp. it has alot of adult type themes. make-up and cosmetics comedy just to name a reason. tell her happy birthday from yahoo answers.

Personally i think hilary duff is a terrible actress who gets worse with every movie. But I don't know if this movie would be appropriate but hey do what you please. Happy Birthday to your daughter.

go out to pizza, have non-alchohilic marg's , go out for ice cream, watch/rent/go to movies. Do hair and make-up before you go.
