You tell him you want to go out and enjoy him as your husband which is your marital rights.

If he use to party and drink with his friends and go to clubs, he can party with his wife.

If he doesn't want to go out and do anything with his wife, I don't see why he gets mad if your girlfriends pick up his slack.

I say communicate with him and to let him know that this is causing problems in the marriage that he might not be aware of.

I see a lot of situations where its easy to get married but hard to have a marriage and there is a big difference.

Getting married is the ceremony and the marriage is what both parties are suppose to add to making it better for the both of you.

It don't take nothing to go out and enjoy yourself finances permit in order to make your spouse happy this is something simple he can do and I would simply put it to him that he must do or you will eventually seek other means for your happiness outside of the home and that isn't right. Good Luck.

Sounds like HE was actually ready to settle down .....If you made a mistake by getting married when you were not ready to..Tell Him. But,If you LOVE him and want to be a WIFE to him, then DO IT! As far as the "no fun anymore"...Welcome To The Real World...You two are married with responsibilities and most times it's not fun. However, you and he can spice things up if you really need to...Cook him a nice dinner...Light some candles..open a bottle of wine.....Try some INTELLIGENT conversation. Good Luck!

Go out anyway. don't cheat. Just have some fun and let him know that this is something that you need in your life. You are married not in jail, you are allowed to have different opinions about things as long as there is trust it shouldn't be a problem, if he doesn't trust you then you have a whole bunch of other questions to find the answers to.

Ouch.

When I had decided to change from the party going drinker to a guy who avoids clubs and drinks maybe a glass of wine for a week, I told her that I had to do it and that if she wants to continue our old routine we would have to break up. We did, and it was the right choice.

You have to decide whether you are going to adopt his lifestyle (which you don't seem to want to do) or break up with him. It is possible to love someone and still feel that you cannot have a relationship because of differences. This seems to be that kind of situation.

Compromise. He lets you go out maybe once a week and you do something for him in return. And maybe once in a while he comes out with you too. I don't know enough to figure it all out. All I can say is compromise.

you grow up and realize there is more to life than alcohol.

He apparently figured it out.

Granted, you should eb able to hang with friends, but it sounds like you need to find some hobbies you can do together, that don't involve alcohol and staying out late, because it sounds like he got over that.

Shouldn't have gotten married.
That's why I will party till I die of a diseased liver.

You shouldn't have married him so fast and without much thought.
YOu're stuck for life.
