I am wondering if you think it is wrong to plaster your peotry around the web in the hopes that someone will read it?

No. You have the right to plaster it where ever you want. Any individual has the option to read it or not, it's their choice. You might get lucky and have the right person read it, you'll never know if it isn't out there.

No, it is a form of expression and thats all one is doing by posting it on the web. Just because its personal doesnt mean that its not worth allowing someone else to read it...who knows a complete stranger might really appreciate and value one's work because it resonates with a circumstance that they are going through and/or an emotion that they are feeling....

If you feel your subjecting them and dont have confidence in your work you will sabotage it. So with that in mind yes it is. Now if you are asking in general then no.
