We won't change their thinking in the short run....but if we stick to it, we just might. Besides, sending money to people who truly need it has got to be good thing.

Why sent money to Lebanon? Because it is the RIGHT thing to do. The money is being sent to help feed, cloth and provide shelter to the people who lost their homes when Israel attacked. As long as the money does not go for any military or terrorist use, then we should send it.
And yes, Israel was attacked also, but they already have received enough money from us that they should be able to provide aid themselves.

That has to be the most ignorant statement I have ever seen. We would not need to send aid to Lebanon if Israel didn't use the money we already sent to them to destroy parts of it. We are not fighting terrorism, we are funding it by sending billions of dollars to Israel, the real terrorists.

It is not a matter of winning the minds of the Lebanese over. It is our satellite state (Israel) who used weapons (made by us) to kill their population. And in this conflict (for the first time in history) there were more children than combatants killed by OUR weapons.

Now who wants to "fund" the terrorists! We don't need to win them{ Islam} over to our way of thinking,"we" need to allow them to "believe" what they believe! That's the problem, we want "them" to think like "us"! It's people like you that think like that, that get us into these messes we get into!
