I am currently studying my Masters in Physical Education, and off course I am not a certified teacher yet to teach. My question is if anyone out there knows how I can start to work within my field while still completing my studies. Maybe to work as an assistant Phys Ed teacher or something similar to that. I have tried to find out information on the web but all the job postings is for those who are already certified. Does anyone have any answers it will truly be appreciated.

Register to be a sub in all the schools you are willing to drive to and/or teach at. I subbed for the whole county. When you register, you can tell them schools, grade levels, subject areas, etc.

It would not only get you some experience, it would get your name in the door with principals and other staff.

Thats what I did.

Sorry, but it's the truth. Try to start working before you finish your M

Look into private and catholic schools. They generally have assistant teachers. However, if you go through the program to become a teacher, don't you have required student teaching?
