and Irish...as my mother was...does that mean you have a special gift ? If so what...I need help on this one.

That's nothing we are Irish as well and no you have no special gift But know that The Irish were treated worse YES I said worse than black slaves Go figure that one And yet we don't whine and complain for all that was dun to our ancestors ..... I also know a family of the seventh son of a seventh son from a seventh son and so on for 21 of their generations that is cool

It's the 7th child of a 7th child that usually has the gift of been able to predict the future or psychic as some would say, maybe been the 9th child of a 9th child does have its own meanings too, guess your very lucky coming from a large loving family.

Don't know I'm the sixth of six children I'm half Irish half English and my mum was the ninth of nine and she is irish, there is something in it not sure what.

No - the old adage is if you are the 7th child of the 7th child, it's presumed that you have special gifts and talents.

I think you will find that the "Gift" is bestowed on the 7th child of a 7th child not the ninth.

It's the seventh son of the seventh son that 'supposedly' has healing powers in Irish mythology. I am Irish and know a seventh son of a seventh son, don't know if he has 'healed' anyone though.
