my periods r not 28 days they r 30 day so was asking wen i ovulate. not everyone is 28 days.?

if they are 30 days, then you'd ovulate around the 15day from the 1st of your last period. You ovulate midpoint between your periods.

The baby center link is a good choice, but it's not going to tell you for sure. You can either chart your basil body temp (bbt) at fertilityfriend.com or buy an ovulation predictor kit. A bbt thermometer is about $10 and free to chart your temp on the web-site. The ovulation kits are about $20 for 7. I am going to use them for the first time this month. My cycle is 31 days and the instructions say start checking on day 14. Therefore, you would probably start on day 13. Even with a 28 day cycle, not everyone ovulates on day 14. You should ovulate at least 14 days before your next period, but if you have a luteal phase defect you would ovulate late. In which case you might try Clomid (prescription) to help you ovulate earlier. But try the bbt or opk first to find out when you're ovulating. Good luck!

Most women ovulate 12-16 days before their period and within individual women, that rarely varies by more than a day. You likely ovulate somewhere between day 14 and day 18. you ovulate on day 16 think of it this way 28 is day 14, 29 is day 15, 30 is day 16 and so on and so forth. as long as your cycles are consistant you can count on that day to be when you ovulate.

Count 16 days from the day you start your period and that should be your ovulation day. Example you started your period on Aug. 1st then your ovulation day would be on the 16th If you are trying to conceive have sex on day 14, 16 and 18 of your cycle. Try having your partner take vitamin C to help with sperm production.

It makes no difference how long your period is.
The way to do this is to always count backwards.
You will get your period 14 days AFTER you ovulate.
Example: You have your period on the 1st so you will ovulate on or about the 17th and have your period again on the 30th.
If your always regular this makes this much easier than if your not since you wouldn't know where to count back from.

I never had a a "normal" 28 day cycle even on the pill and Deppo. Can't tell you when you'll ovulate unless you do the temp. and ovulation test thing.
