Ya. Very much so. It's the best entertainment around sometimes.
It's like watching a play: you have drama, humor, angst,
etc.

Plus you can learn a lot just from observing people. It's my endless fascination.

if you're not a people watcher then you are a hermit or maybe just a basketcase that never leaves the house.

Yes. I watch from the sidelines rather than playing the game. It tends to get rather lonely, but I never get an invitation to join.
