Are you talking about simple friendship? Then go and hang out where other mothers with kids hang out. Hang out at the park. Join a mom's group. Go to church. When you go to these places, be friendly and take an interest in other people's lives. You will soon have friends.

If she wants a friend then go find one. A friend should have no bearing on if she loves her husband or not. I have friends my husband has never really met and we hang out all the time he also has friends he likes to hang out with that have nothing to do with me.
I guess I don't understand the question...
If it's a matter of a sexual or intimate relationship then she should be content with her family and forget about it.

I am married with a kid and my wife loves me. But she has friends too. Both male and female. Its no problem. But talk to your hubby first if you want to have friends. Ok. He might not like it. But I hope it will be ok with him. Its healthy to have friends.

If this someone is male, and she is committed to this marriage, she should stay away. Attraction is a physical, biological reaction that we have very little conscious control over. spending time with someone outside the marriage is just asking for trouble.
