I'ts horrible. Kids are getting into drinking, drugs, and smoking at younger and younger ages than ever. It's because it's getting easier and easier to gain access to them. WE must stand together in this fight to educate the youth, not only through words, but SHOW them what it can do. It is not cruel to give them images that they will be frightened of in remembering, for then they are that much less likely to get into all of that bad stuff. It's heartbreaking and appalling to see what kids are doing these days! I'm 14 and I vow to NEVER get into any of that! Be friends with good people like you and help each other through the tough times. Have a good, healthy relationship with your family, for your family is your safety net. Stay CLEAN!

People's kids are drinking alcohol earlier b/c of the temptation. If the drinking age was lowered, it would eliminate the temptation of doing something illegal. Drinking at a younger age enables children to drink more responsibly.

you need some details or some spell check with your question...but kids aren't drinking any earlier now than they ever have and even if they are why not? other than the developmental problems why shouldn't they i mean if its bad for them then its bad for you and we should go back to prohibition. (which would never work I'm being sarcastic.)

kids have alot of peer preasure and when other kids start drinking they think its ok for them to do it and they think its cool and just want to fit in w/ everyone else they don't want to feel different
