I don't try to sniff it, but I do a lot of manicures and pedicures and my nose does get close to the polishes. Some polishes are stronger smelling than others and when I get close to those I get a little light headed. I think that if you sniff it all the time, and on purpose, it will effect your nose and throat and lungs too besides your brain cells. If you can smell it, you are taking in small particles of the substance you smell, no matter what it is. So a high today is a lifetime of problems down the road.

on the molecular level it clogs pores in the nasal passage, globs nosehair together, and in so doing closes the sinus cavities so that what you really achieve is lack of oxygen to the brain; Oxygen depriviation: oxygen starving the Brain;as in there is No real 'high'! Same for superglue!

ugh anyone who sniffs the stuff is already brain damaged.

don't do it. read up on this action in google.com key it up.

not only is it unpleasant (i use fingernail polish in art) it isn't good for you at all. it causes inflammation in the mucous membranes... headache, dizziness, flesh tabs in the nostrils (and fibroids) which can also happen in the brain. cancer... inhalation can cause shortness of breath, heart palipatations, damage to sinuses and brain tissues, vomiting, convulsions, discharge of blood in the membrains...

it's not even pleasant... long term use there can be buildup in the lungs and cancerous tumors.
read up more in google.
